Future Africa International Trading FZE started its operations in the Djibouti Free Zones in the early 2021 focusing on commodities, FMCG, raw materials, chemicals, autos and auto parts, construction materials, that the group has been dealing in for decades. The company is in discussions to establish and expand assembly plants, converting plants as well as processing plants in Djibouti and Ethiopia.
In the very short period of its existence, Future Africa International Trading FZE has recorded commendable performance in turnover and profitability. From day to day, it is growing its operations and currently it has presence in four of the main free zones in Djibouti. Future Africa International Trading FZE has, currently, warehouses and logistics centers at Djibouti Free Zone, UKAP, East Africa Free Zone as well as Djibouti International Trade Free Zone which is part of the China Merchant International.
Future Africa is currently focusing on products like Sugar, Edible Oil, Rice, Wheat, Wheat flour, Pulses, Steel. GI sheets, Raw materials, Trucks / trailers, Evehicles, Spares, Electronics and related. The company has strong networks and customer bases in the regional markets which it plans to feed from and via the Port of Djibouti and the Free zones in Djibouti. In addition to the logistics facilities that it operates currently, Future Africa International Trading FZE plans to have value adding facilities that it is planning in line with the businesses that it currently has in other parts of the continent.
Future Africa International Trading FZE plans to support its business with the latest addition of vessels and big cargo boats which the holding group is currently in the process of acquiring.
Currently Future Africa International Trading FZE has initiated discussions with the Ports and Free Zones Authorities in Djibouti on potential expansion and establishment of its processing and logistics facilities which are in line with long term plans of the company.
